Late morning run in Illahee Preserve, fast becoming one of my favorite places in town. It's not just me either, I saw three other runners in there today. I explored off the north end of the trail system today, taking a outlet to Rolling Hills Golf Course. I ran about two holes of the course on grass near the out-of-bounds markers, then cut back in to the forest. I had a pretty thin meadow initially, but ended up bushwhacking a bit to get back to the trail.

Still having some slight discomfort in my left foot, the arch really tightens up when I start out. Hoping it's nothing plantar-related, and trying to stretch/massage the foot well after running.

43:50 (total, including bushwhacking time)

Banner Forest run w/Lemke, Mike, Tony and Pete. We started in the dark and ran by headlamp for 30 minutes, mainly on the "road" through the woods before hitting the trail. Once on single track we slowed the pace (except Lemke, who knows the woods like his living room), then picked it up once the sky lightened up. Good run in a nice place, and the rain waited until just as we finished to hit. 56:00 or so, I didn't have the timer going.
