Didn't mean to miss yesterday, but something came up at work and then I went to a neighborhood meeting last night that ran late. I may be a bit short of my mileage goal for the week, though I'll try to tack a few easy miles here and there just to get the 40. Weather is improving, now is more like it -- no downpours, but cool and a few clouds.

Kind of a rough run today. Tracyton Beach Road with a 4-mile tinman workout, which didn't sound too intimidating but would still get the heart rate up. The two intro miles were the usual. The first tinman was quick, in part because I was going to stop at the bathroom at the end of it. But the park's facilities were still locked so I just kept going. Whether it was that or just trying to push early in the a.m. I'm not sure, but I really labored through the three other uptempo miles. The spits were 6:07, 6:24, 6:26, 6:28. The three latter miles were consistent and more what my tinman pace should be, but I wasn't real comfortable. Just never got into a good rhythm or felt strong, but I finished and crept home (bathroom still wasn't open on the way back).
